Of rectangular form with serpentine sides, with the top centered by a sunburst encircled cartouche, inscribed 'M.S.P V.D.E', flanked by a lion and a sphinx and draped weapons, above a ribbon inscribed 'A.S. ALTEZZA M.S. VICE RE D'EGITTO ANNO 1855', all surrounded by scrolling foliage and C-scrolls and various trophies including musical instruments, weapons, books and tools, openning to reveal and foliate and C-scroll-inlaid games board
