Five Japanese puppy netsuke, 19th Century
two of ivory, carved depicting a puppy chewing apart a sandal, eyes inlaid; and a another reclining pup, a length of rope clutched in its mouth, eyes inlaid; two of wood, a seated puppy curled back around itself, signed; and another sleeping upon a large fan; and a small wood seal of a puppy wearing a mokugyo bell around its collar on a square seal base -- 2in. (5cm.) wide max. (5)
