A Chinese ivory tusk carving, 19th century
of an oval shape, carved in high relief with immortals playing weiqi beside their attendants in a garden before pagodas, the reverse with a boy playing a flute riding on the back of a water buffalo and a warrior and his horse before a fenced enclosure fortified pagoda, with a lappet band below the rim -- 7 5/8in. (19.3cm.) high, wood stand.
