Lot Essay

Accompanied by Piaget cardboard slipcase and leather-covered box.

In producing the Emperador Tourbillon, Piaget set out to manufacture the world's thinnest shaped tourbillon, the caliber 600 P, a completely in-house movement. It took three years for Piaget to create this tourbillon mechanism in a shaped movement of just 3.5.mm thickness. The three bridges of the tourbillon carriage are made of titanium, a particularly resistant and lightweight material and the entire carriage barely weighs 0.2 grams.
