"A very impressive showing with spice, ripe earth, a touch of underbrush and mushroom aromas followed by wonderfully complex, rich and still nicely intense flavors of excellent length and real velvet on the finish. While there is certainly no rush, I would begin to look for opportunities to drink this as it risks thinning out over time. Still, this is easily as good as the '85 La Tâche, something that the DRC Grands-Echézeaux rarely achieves." BH, Jul 1, 2006
