A DERBY KAKIEMON PART DINNER SERVICE
Circa 1820, iron-red crowned crossed batons and D marks
Painted overall in the Chinese taste with the 'Formal Lotus Tree' pattern of a flowering tree within a gilt line, comprising:
Twenty-eight plates, 10 in. (25.5 cm.) diam.
Ten plates, 8¾ in. (22.3 cm.) diam.
Twelve side dishes, 7 in. (17.8 cm.) diam.
Three vegetable dishes and covers, 10¼ in. (26 cm.) wide
Two oval platters, 13 3/8 in. (34 cm.) long
Four oval platters, 10¾ in. (27.3 cm.) long
Two oval platters, 14½ in. (36.8 cm.) long (62)
