AN EGYPTIAN BRONZE SITULA WITH OFFERING SCENE
CIRCA 4TH-3RD CENTURY B.C.
The upper register with two solar barques pulled by jackals and two worshipping baboons, the central register with dedicant making offerings to ithyphallic Amun, Isis, Nephthys, Sekhmet(?) and Mut, the lower register with two winged uraei, and the kneeling souls of Pe and Nekhen, with incised lotiform base, with twin suspension loops and later loop handle, mounted

Acquired at auction in London in the 1980s.
