LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY, BLUE CROSSED SWORDS MARKS, ONE WITH INCISION AND POSSIBLE OUTSIDE-DECORATION, INCISED MODEL NOS. L.113, L.125 AND L.126, IMPRESSED 137, 118 AND 65, PAINTED 36., 36. AND 20., RESPECTIVELY, THE LAST AFTER A MODEL BY POLLACK
The first modelled as a putto wearing armour and standing atop a slain dragon, emblematic of triumphant love; the second as Cupid blowing a kiss, his arrows at his side; the last an outside-decorated example, modelled as a putto holding a large torchère covered in flowering vine and painted with a flaming heart, all three on gilt-enriched faux marble circular bases
