Persian manuscript on paper, 190ff. with 12ll. of fine black nasta'liq arranged in two gold ruled columns, opening bifolio with illuminated heading, final folio with colophon dated last day of Dhu'l Qa'da 1059, and signed by the scribe Muhammad Shaf'i ibn 'Abd al-Jabbar, original tan morocco binding with flap with gold tooled medallions and spandrels with perching birds and cloud bands- folio 7¾ x 4½in. (19.8 x 11.3cm.)
