AN INDIAN RUBY AND DIAMOND INSET GOLD PENDANT
PROBABLY DECCAN, LATE 18TH CENTURY
Of cusped octafoil form, the centre with a small flat-cut diamond surrounded by radiating ruby ridges within a border of further diamonds, the reverse with a brightly coloured enamel floral spray on plain gold ground, suspension loop above and pendant pearl below
1½in. (4.4cm.) long
