PROBABLY MYSORE, SOUTH INDIA, 18TH CENTURY
The double-headed eagle with half-spread downturned wings and flaring tail, the drop-shaped body set with diamonds around a central faceted ruby, the wings set with rubies, emeralds and with diamonds, the heads and tail similarly inset, the reverse with repoussé detailing, pendant pearl below, upper floral terminal, on heavy chain of cast gold beads imitating granulation
