PROBABLY MYSORE, SOUTH INDIA, LATE 18TH CENTURY
The double-headed eagle with half-spread downturned wings and flaring tail, the drop-shaped body completely set with diamonds, the wings set with rubies, emeralds and with diamonds, the head and tail similarly inset, the reverse with engraved detailing, suspended on heavy square link gold chain
