SOUTH INDIA OR THE DECCAN, LATE 18TH OR EARLY 19TH CENTURY
The large bezel inset with a large cabochon oval foiled emerald in a border of wire-work scrolls, the domed back with panels of scrolling wire-work designs, the heavy cast hoop with applied granulation and wire-work, the shoulders with large birds with everted heads, a lozenge design at the back
Bezel 1 1/16in. (2.2cm.) high; overall 1¾in. (4.2cm.) deep
