Rectangular, the Sheffield-plated stand set on four scroll feet with acanthus joins, and leaf-clad handles, and detachable warming dish, marked under stand; the entree dish shaped rectangular, the gadrooned border with shells and acanthus at intervals, the domed cover with conforming decoration, and foliate clad snake handles, the cover engraved with a coat-of-arms, the dish with crest, marked on dish, cover, and finial
