A pipecase, a tobacco pouch and an inro, 19th Century
the first of basketwork, decorated in iroe takamakie with a Geisha in a courtiers costume, one rim in silver, signed, the ivory Shibayama decorated ojime with a branch bearing a kaki fruit in agate, aogai and tortoiseshell and gold reserve; the pouch of woven textile with a wave pattern and a gilt clasp in the form of a bird perched on a net; the inro and attached ojime of soft fungus -- the first 8in. (20.3cm.) (4)
