A four-case Shibayama style inro, signed Tounsai Senryu, 19th Century
carved and inlaid in aogai, coral, stained ivory, silver and glass, with gold hiramakie, wood and roiro lacquer of a large white caparisoned elephant to one side and four karako to the other, singing and playing musical instruments, one brandishing a flag, bead ojime, signed on a rectangular aogai reserve -- 3 3/8in. (8.4cm.)
