An ivory netsuke of Shoki, signed Mitsuharu, late 18th, early 19th Century
standing, his head turned to one side and laughing while he, with one hand, tightly holds on to the foot of an oni who has climbed onto his left shoulder and is clinging on to his headdress, signed in an oval reserve -- 2 7/8in. (7.3cm.)
