A group of three pierced manju netsuke, mid 19th Century
the first of ivory with Minamoto no Yoshimitsu seated playing the sho surrounded by pine, the reverse with a crescent moon, clouds and bats in flight; another of walrus tooth of a Tennin angel holding a lotus spray, the reverse with lotus leaves; the last of ivory with a dragon amidst clouds and clutching the sacred pearl -- the first 1¾in. (4.4cm.) (3)
