Apparently unmarked except for two later French duty-marks, circa 1760
Rectangular semi-translucent brownish/grey agathe snuff-box with baluster sides, within wavy floral gold mounts with plain scroll thumbpiece, the slightly raised lid overlaid with a cagework of further floral scrolls, centred by a jewelled horn with flowers set with rubies, emeralds and diamonds, marked on inside rim
