Accompanied by Audemars Piguet Certificat d'Origine et de Garantie made out by Gübelin SA, Zurich on 29 September 1972. Furthermore delivered with a later, spare Audemars Piguet stainless steel link bracelet and deployant clasp.

The present watch is from the very first series of the legendary Royal Oak series, delivered to Gübelin in Zurich in 1972, the same year the model was introduced into the market.

From its introduction to the present day, the Royal Oak, epitome of a luxury sports wristwatch with its unique octagonal screwed porthole bezel continues to captivate watch collectors and aficionados with undiminished power.
