Engraved portrait of Coke by Payne in vol.I, III & IV, portrait of Littleton by Vaughan in vol.I, folding printed and woodcut table in the same vol., titles within a woodcut architectural border, vol.I a different border (title of vol.I cut round and mounted, some browning in vol.III & IV). 18th-century mottled calf gilt (rebacked, extremities rubbed, upper cover of vol.I detached). Provenance: presentation slip from Dr. G.W. Prothero to the Royal Historical Society. STC 15785 and Wing C4948 & 4961.
