Tasting Note: The 2000 Petrus has turned out to be magically endowed, and appears to possess many more layers of flavor and power than it did a year ago. Reminiscent of dry vintage port, its inky black/ruby/purple color is followed by a stunning perfume of concentrated black fruits, great ripeness, huge, tannic structure, immense body, and a majestic 60-second finish.
