signed Kogyokusai, Meiji Period (late 19th century)
Decorated in iroe, hiramaki-e and takamaki-e, hirame and nashiji on a kinji ground and inlaid in shakudo, gold and silver, with an attendant releasing cranes for his Lord to see flying by, nashiji interior
