Each side painted with a large lobed panel enclosing a tiger making an enormous leap over branches of cherry blossom and bamboo, on an underglaze-blue ground of peony enriched with tasselled ribbons, butterflies and smaller superimposed panels of a dragon and wisteria, one broken and repaired
