"This is drinking exactly like the review in Issue 11, which I repeat here: The most complete wine today with power, superb minerality, impressive intensity and stunning length. It took some effort to persuade the wine to reveal its character however as it is, in contrast to so many '01s, presently tight and strict though eventually displayed elegant white fruits that give way to intense green apple flavors underpinned by wet gravel plus a trace of grilled nuts culminating in exceptionally good length. A very fine Montrachet that is remarkably understated despite the obvious ripeness of the underlying material. This will require a minimum of 10 years to achieve its full potential."
