"As it should be, this is the best wine here with its compelling nose of floral, orchard fruit and gorgeous spice notes that keep changing each time one returns to the glass, followed by classy, pure and fine flavors that possess both powerful and elegance, which continues onto the ultra complex, dense, long and palate staining finish. Like the Bâtard, this is really quite fine for Montrachet though it doesn't lack for density or punch. A great wine that could conceivably surprise to the upside." BH, July 1, 2006
