LIMOGES, POSSIBLY 13TH CENTURY
Of arched rectangular form; the figure of St. Peter cast separately and applied; depicted standing and holding his key and a book; the ground enamelled in dark blue with scalloped borders, two turquoise bands and repeating rosette motifs; also inscribed 'S PETRVS'; the reverse inscribed with an 'x'; minor wear to gilding, minor damages, the border drilled with eight holes
