Banded overall and inlaid with fruitwood lines, the rectangular top above a slanted fall-front inlaid with a patera enclosing a fitted interior with four drawers, two open compartments a lidded well with two secret drawers, the writing surface centered by a roundel, above three serpentine drawers flanked by canted angles inlaid with foliage and on a plinth base with bracket feet
