A black mother-of-pearl inlaid table stand, 17th century
the rectangular top inlaid with a quatrefoil cartouche enclosing an equestrian figure crossing a bridge towards a pavilion, and attendants carrying bundles and scholars by a pavilion, the waist pierced with foliate apertures above the apron with figures in a garden within cartouches, all reserved on a cash diaper ground, supported on scrolling feet -- 26in. (66cm.) wide.
