A pale celadon jade moonflask, 18th/19th Century
of flattened spherical form, well carved in relief to the broadsides with the bajixiang the eight Buddhist emblems, four to each side amongst scattered cloud scrolls, the rounded neck with square formed rim and stylised scrolling motifs, raised on a flaring rectangular foot -- 7 1/8in. (18cm.) high.
