A Chinese yellow glazed incised 'dragon' dish, Daoguang mark and of the period (1821-1850)
with shallow rounded sides under an even yellow glaze running short of the foot ring, the central medallion incised with a five-clawed dragon chasing a flaming pearl amidst fire scrolls, the undersides similarly decorated with two dragons among cloud and fire scrolls chasing flaming pearls, underglaze blue six character Daoguang seal mark -- 6 7/8in. (17.3cm.) diam.
