Two albums of watercolours, early 19th Century
containing thirty-eight and thirty-six paintings respectively on paper, decorated in vibrant colours with various figural scenes including dignitaries with attendants, scholars practising calligraphy at a table, warriors with swords and ladies with gentlemen in garden and river landscapes, each with a small calligraphic panel to the lower left hand corner, original silk covered albums -- each painted leaf 8¼in. x 6¼in. (20cm. x 6cm.). (2)
