Finely carved in shallow relief around the sides with pairs of scholars conversing on rocky ledges within a mountain landscape studded with various trees, two trunks forming the handle with boughs of pine spilling into the interior along the irregular flaring rim, the underside of the flat foot incised with wave pattern, of deep reddish-brown tone
