oval box, the cover, side and base panels enamelled in translucent orange on engine-turned vertical coin-pattern stripes, within borders of white enamel simulated pearls, the cover centred with an oval enamel plaque of a lady with basket standing in front of a peasant couple seated in a classical riverside landscape, within frosted gold frame applied with translucent green enamelled leaves and red ribbons, the borders and side pilasters similarly adorned; with suede-lined hinged brown leather case stamped 'Bulgari Roma'
