oblong box (boîte en baignoire, 'bathtub box'), the cover, and base engine-turned with a scalework pattern, enamelled in translucent yellow within band of opaque white enamel, raised rope-twist border with opaque white enamel pellets and blue flowers, and translucent green foliage, the sides similarly decorated, with four reserves divided by enamelled foliage on a frosted ground
