signed and dated 'Stordy Pxt. 1778' (lower right)
oval, 1 7/8 in. (49 mm.) high, gold mounted on the lid of a circular Louis XVI gold-mounted green and white striped lacquer bonbonnière, the box 3 1/16 in. (77 mm.) diam.
