One Third Dynasty of Ur, reign of Shulgi (2050 B.C.), with thirty lines of Sumerian cuneiform recording the balancing of an account for a month concerning barley and barley products, including beer; one Old Babylonian (2000-1700 B.C.) with sixty-five lines of Babylonian cuneiform recording the holdings of agricultural land; one Old Akkadian (2200-2100 B.C.), probably from Umma, with thirty lines of Sumerian cuneiform recording measures of beer as wages to named individuals; and one Old Babylonian from the reign of Ammi-ditana (1684-1647 B.C.), recording the details of a contract concerning silver
