The interior with five compartments, the outer four each covered by a hinged lid incised with concentric rectangles and centered by a U-shaped handle, the sliding lid incised with concentric rectangles, a perforation at one end to accommodate the lock mechanism below, the bottom also with concentric rectangles; likely once used to store medicines
