Portrayed frontal, half-length, blessing and bearing a staff, dressed in Episcopal attire, his elderly face, long hair and beard rendered with soft colours, his halo defined by a golden rim against the luminous background, the border of the realistic representation decorated with punched, polychrome flowers, set in a carved, wooden and gilded frame
