Original brown cloth, uncut (rebacked retaining original spine and endpapers, minor damage to rear free endpaper). Provenance: C.M Herud (ownership inscription on half-title); some ink and pencil underlining and marginalia in text; Dr. Eugene H. Courtiss (his sale, Christie's Los Angeles, 9 February 2000, lot 59).
