"The oldest of a magnificent range of old madeira brought to Christie's for sale in 1989. First noted prior to cataloguing and the next not long after: medium deep amber with a very pronounced apple green rim; refined, with my favourite 'crystallised violets' scent; sweet, typically (for Terrantez) full-bodied but beautifully balanced, its power and richness coping well with its high acidity.
