Of oblong form with canted corners, the front with applied enamelled coat-of-arms for the city of Nairobi, the reverse engraved with the inscription 'PRESENTED TO H.R.H. THE DUKE OF GLOUCESTER K.G. ON HIS BEING ADMITTED THE FIRST HONORARY FREEMAN OF THE CITY OF NAIROBI 31ST MARCH 1950'
