The present work's similar configuration and ' ... Paul's rather Egyptian figure style reappear in the poster he and John painted to advertise their joint exhibition at the Dorien Leigh Gallery in 1913' (see Sir J. Rothenstein, John Nash, London, 1983, p. 21).
