MARK OF SAMUEL KIRK, BALTIMORE, CIRCA 1840,
Marked "S.K", "11 oz." & "S.KIRK.", in the 18th century style, squat inverted pear shape, the spout terminating in eagle's head, pod finial, sides chased in relief with chinoiserie buildings & gardens, flowers, "C" scrolls & diaperwork, amoeba-like decoration to lower body, chased band of flowers around foot, wood handle, 7½ in. high (19 cm.), 23 oz.
