A LATE 19TH CENTURY AMERICAN RED-PATINATED COPPER DRESSING TABLE TRAY WITH APPLIED SILVER DECORATION,
MARK OF GORHAM & CO., CIRCA 1885,
Decorated with a fruiting strawberry plant with butterfly & two birds in flight, a small bull at base of plant, the background hammered to simulate clouds, the base stamped with anchor in shield & "GORHAM CO, B73, O", 9½ in. long (24.8 cm.).
