Orné au centre d'un large médaillon décoré de deux dragons et de deux phénix évoluant parmi des branchages de chrysanthèmes et pivoines, la bordure rehaussée de dragons et phénix repris également à l'extérieur, marque à six caractères de l'Empereur Xuande en bleu sous couverte à la base ; petites restaurations à la bordure

Some examples of similar dishes, although bearing the Kangxi mark, are illustrated in Porcelains in Polychrome and Contrasting Colours, The Complete Collection of Treasures of the Palace Museum, Hong Kong 1999, pl.133 ; and one from the Chang Foundation, Taiwan, illustrated in Selected Chinese Ceramics from Han to Qing Dynasties, Taipei 1990, pl.122.
