Maker's mark only, most likely that of Pieter Douwes (Voet 309), Kollum, circa 1660
With fig-shaped bowl, the canted plain handle with pine-cone finial, the reverse of the bowl engraved with a coat-of-arms within scrolling foliage and initials SFAR, pricked BE M 83, marked on bowl
