A fine silver-mounted tortoiseshell snuff-box
Apparently unmarked, the Netherlands, circa 1720
Formed by a Cape tortoise (Testudo geometrica) the back and the hinged armadillo with finely engraved floral bands and ornament
12.5 cm. long
