The first maker's mark only of J.B. Carlier, Middelburg, circa 1780, the second maker's mark only (unidentified) possibly Schoonhoven, circa 1785
Each tapering with twisted fluted, one silver-mounted mother-of-pearl handles applied with the partriotic symbol of a keeshond, the other one with vase and foliage, marked on bases
