A gentleman, in pale blue coat and wearing the blue sash of the Royal French Order of the St. Esprit; and a gentleman in grey coat and floral waistcoat (French School, circa 1790)
the former bearing signature 'hall', gilt-metal frame with ribbon surmount; silver brooch frame with mother-of-pearl reverse, respectively
ovals, 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.) and 1 7/8 in. (47 mm.) high (2)
